Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
